How to drink Honey Mead, Spiced Mead, Liquor Mead and Sparkling Mead

HONEY MEAD
Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright, golden hues.
Nose: Floral beeswax and nutty marmalade-like aromas.
Palate: Refreshingly light on the palate, subtle apricot and honey characters fill the mouth. Predictably sweet, but not clawing.

Serve chilled on its own or used in cocktails like…..

Tall glass
Fresco Sparkling Honey
Honey Mead
Ice
Lemon to serve
Fresh sprig of Mint

Place ice in Shaker. ½ glass of Fresco Sparkling Honey, ½ glass of Honey Mead, ice. Shake and put in tall glass serve with lemon slice and sprig of Mint. Enjoy!

Honey Mead is 12.5% alcohol.

SPICED MEAD
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale amber with golden hues
Nose: Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove leaping from the glass, with honey and citrus undertones. Liquid hot cross buns
Palate: These spicy characters are carried through on the palate where they fill the mouth with a complex and satisfying array of flavours.

Served warm (body temp) or use it as a base for Mulled Wine. It can also be poured over cakes and served with custard or used as a marinade for your lamb roast giving it a middle eastern vibe.

Mulled Wine
2 Cups of red wine
2 cups of spiced mead
Cinnamon stick
Orange Peel
Small pot

Place Mead in a pot with red wine. Place some orange peel and a cinnamon stick in with the wine and mead. Bring to warm temperature. Serve in a heat proof mug with a slice of orange and sprig of Rosemary.

Spiced Mead is 12.5% alcohol.

LIQUOR MEAD
Tasting Notes
Colour: 24 carat gold
Nose: A complex array of nine secret herbs and spices
Palate: Rich and sweet, with complex spice finishing with hints of aged brandy

Served either at room temperature or over ice. Pour over ice-cream or used as a cheeky fruit salad dressing.

Liquor Mead is 18.5% alcohol.

SPARKLING MEAD
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale Golden hues
Nose: Fresh apple/ ginger aromas
Palate: Refreshingly light with a hint of apple ginger.

Simply Serve chilled in a glass or straight from the bottle.

Sparkling Mead is 5% alcohol.
